2025 IMPORTANT DATES:
- March 15-21, 2025 - Pitchers and Catchers can start "Softball conditioning for pitchers (6) and catchers (4) may be conducted for no more than five (5) days per athlete (Saturday through Friday) the week prior to the first date for softball practice as designated by the CIAC."
- Saturday, March 22, 2025 - The first day of tryouts/practice for all players
- Wednesday, March 26, 2025 – Virtual Umpires Rule Interpretation and Changes + Virtual
CHSCA State-Wide High School Softball Coaches meeting. 7:00pm - Saturday, April 5, 2025 – First official games can be played
- Friday, May 16, - Senior All-Star, Junior Select, Sophomore Game nominations ACCEPTED
- Monday, May 19 – Voting OPEN for All-State + All other awards. Sent via email.
- Monday, May 26, Senior All-Star, Junior Select, Sophomore Game nominations close, 5pm
- Wednesday, May 28 – DUE DATE for All-State + All other awards
- Thursday, May 29 - Last day for games to count for CIAC tournament
- Friday, May 30 - Pairings announced on CASCIAC.ORG
- Weekend of 5/31, 6/1 = (all-state players, senior all-star game selection, junior select game
selection, sophomore game announced via email to coaches) - Saturday, May 31 - Qualifying Round, if needed
- Monday, June 2, 2025 - First Round of the CIAC State Tournament
- Wednesday, June 4, 2025 - Second Round of the CIAC State Tournament
